I can easily see a child playing with this for so much time, and learning so much. Just because he/she can do things and try them out and see the results for themselves, as opposed to being told how things work. It is the perfect tool to spark off that curiousness...

There is an awesome game for the PS3 (exclusively for the PS3 that makes me want to throw away my X360 and buy a PS3 just for this game!) called Little Big Planet. Check out the videos. I think every growing child needs to have this game.
The Little Big Planet videos seem absolutely fantastic! Let me know if you do get the PS3 and this game. ;-)
